Some of the dedicated men locally have decided to disconnect the tvs in their homes to keep the junk out of their daily lives. They say they use what would be tv time for study and interaction with the family. These are not some way out there guys but members of mainstream churches here in the community. What do you think?

Do to the nature of our ministry we spend a lot of time on the internet. Most of the news I get comes from the internet and not the tv stuff though we watch discussion on FOX periodically. Should we or can we, hide from what is going on in the world. Can we change it if we are not aware of it? If we see it, do we have to become part of it? I like the sports and Nancy likes the detective shows and we relax watching tv in the evening. Jesus said though we are in the world we are not to be of the world. The race track is not always the most delicate environment but that is where much of our ministry takes place. As for us, we will keep our tv and internet on and use what we get there for good. As for those who choose another course in their home, God bless.
