Good Morning...from Alabama...

Well we are on the road again and headed for Wewahitchka, FL  to our little home on which we have a lot of work to do. New projects, old people doing the work; but we will get it done.

First a big "Praise to the Lord" for all He has done for us.  He has touched my mom and she is recovering so fast that she is already saying she needs to get out of there and go home.  Says for all they are doing for her there she could do it for herself at home.  They are very unattentive to her and that is hard on anyone in a hospital or nursing home or rehab center.

Was reading last night "90 Minutes In Heaven" by Don Piper; where the he talks about a song by the Imperials called "Praise the Lord".  The lyrics suggest that when we're up against a struggle and we think we can't go on, we need to praise God.   There is a phrase in the second chorus about the chains that seem to bind us falling away when we turn ourselves over to praise.  The whole song centered on praising God in spite of our circumstances.

Look at the chains that are binding you and realize that the only one who can release you from all those chains is God..... "Praise the Lord" out loud and that lifts Him up and He will lift you up.  Calmness will sweep over you,  sometimes tears will come down and you will feel the peace and even depression can be lifted and vanish....  Stark reminders from some simple songs have changed me and my heart.  I was saved while hearing "On Eagles Wings which is taken from Psalm 91.  I began sobbing and felt the Holy Spirit the first time in my life at 50 yrs old.

The Imperials remind you in the song that Satan is a liar.  He wants to steal our joy and replace it with hopelessness.  When we are up against a struggle and we think we can't keep going, we can change that by praising God.  Our chains will fall from us.

I was led to share that with you this morning....

God is Alive and working everyday and needs to hear our praises out loud.... and we need to be reminded daily of the real reason we have for fully living this life. It is to give everything we have to God---even the heartbreaks and pain.  God is our reason to live.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL  this beautiful morning ... and may your chains be lifted as you draw Him nearer to you.   Love you all.
