Dudley & I went to East Point Florida for a few days in our motorhome; since he had it all spruced up for the trip down to Daytona but as I mentioned previously he was hit with Vertigo and couldn't drive that week.

Our friends Paul & Sharon invited us down to do a little practice shooting.  We enjoyed the visit with good friends, good food & good target practice.

Gene Steele brought his RU21 down to Daytona for the Beach Parade and other activities & races.  Again this year on his way home to Pemberville, Ohio he stopped here in Wewahitchka to visit with us for a week.

Gene visits with our friend Jim B. from here in Wewahitchka; comparing notes on their dogs and catching up with happenings from last years visit.

Rusty and his rubber duckie that made a honker sound every time he chewed it.  He carried it all over town and wouldn't drop it. He entertained the whole town with it.  Most people thought it was a real duck in his mouth.

Off they went to Ohio ....  Gene, Rusty & his Duckie

"This place has always been a place since day one that I've taken a liking to,I kind of like to call it the Canyon of the south for me. Our cars are always really good and I'm proud to drive this thing. It's been a rocket ship since we unloaded it at Eldora last year." Vertigo hit Dudley last week and changed our plans to go to Daytona. We were planning on seeing the Beach Parade & visiting the Drive -In Church & take in some of the races.

Dud has been walking with a cane to keep from falling over sideways. After i suffered with it for 6 years; he now admits he really appreciates what I went through.

After the week it finally let up somewhat on him. So after the motorhome was cleaned and loaded to go, we decided to accept an invitation to East point to visit with friends.

Pastor Dudley officiated at a Mexico Beach wedding for Joe & Cheryl  Erme on Dec 30.  The bride & groom & entire wedding party & family came in from St Louis, MO.  This beautiful scene just overlooked from their condo on the beach. The background for the party was accented by the Mexico Beach Sunset Park right next door.

Sunday program at Tauntons Children Home.  The name David's Dynasty is a play about the birth of Jesus with a take off of Duck Dynasty humor.

The program included most of the Taunton children, some in the play, others working backstage on music, filming, coaching & directing.   The program was directed by Mrs. Abigail Taunton (Momma) did a great job of keeping it all together with practices, costumes & direction; which made the performance glide through perfectly with the music.  Some of the local churches cancelled evening services so members could come and enjoy the program.  Our little church was packed and we all enjoyed cookies & finger foods following the show. It was a great fellowship time.
