“We will drain the swamp in Washington, D.C., and replace it with a new government &mdash of, by and for the people,” Mr. Trump said in Gettysburg, Pa., a site he chose because of Lincoln’s historic address there and which he said reflected his similar goal of unifying the country. “I’m asking the American people to rise above the noise and clutter of our broken politics and to embrace that great faith and optimism that has always been the central ingredient in the American character, and there is nothing better or stronger than the American character,”

The Taunton's Children's Home Church was really crowded  today with about 50 extra people.  We had a group there from West Palm Beach, FL. The speaker was the minister of the group and about 20 of the youth put on a mime program about sin.

Then after the speaker one of their adult men (we will call him Paul) stood up as David Taunton wanted him to give his testimony.  So we went over about 15 minutes.  But he was good for us to hear especially the kids.

Paul told us how he started on drugs at 12 yrs old and then decided to sell it and make some money.  Well he got kicked out of elementary school and then started middle school and then tried it again and got kicked out of it and then on to high school and well the same thing.  He was on the streets selling and using & destroying his body. With drugs & junk going into his body and little food, he was destroying his body.  He was very crippled up with his back, legs, neck and didn't know how he was able to stand up for as long as he did that day. He

Beautiful Sunday service at Taunton's Community church.  Visitors for camp all week from West Palm Beach, FL.  They put on an exciting skit for us, did all the music & the message.  Beautiful testimonies as how God worked in their lives and healed and directed them to better their lives.

May your day be blessed  With all sorts of wonderful things;

Like the comfort of love and the joy of hope And the warmth that having a good friend brings.

May your tomorrows be carefree; Free from worries and fears

 May each moment be magical Lasting through the years.

May this day find you well As you cross my mind

 And may you know that you’re An important person in my life.

Maya Angelou quote:

“At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.”

We had a wonderful day yesterday at Taunton's Family Festival. Swimming, Volleyball tournaments, 5k race, The Amazing Race, games, bocce ball, great food. Our friend Bobby Jordan from Georgia brought his 1947 Kurtis Craft Midget race car down and it was a hit with the everyone. Looks like David Taunton may have a new profession.

Newly weds...  Diana Taunton Miller and Andrew getting ready for the big day of fun and festivities.

Some of the volunteers for the registration table.  All participants for 5k Race, Volleyball Tournaments & The Amazing Race have to register here.  It was a long day with lots of fun.

Warming up for the Volleyball Tournaments

Bobby Jordan brought his 1947 Kurtis Craft Midget for the kids to enjoy.
