Don't let your worries get the best of you.  Remember, Moses started out as a basket case. Some people are kind, polite, and sweet-spirited  - until you try to sit in their pews. It is easier to preach 10 sermons than it is to live one. The good Lord didn't create anything without a purpose, but mosquitoes, flies, ticks, poison ivy, chiggers, and gnats come close. Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on your front door forever. God Himself does not propose to judge a man until he is dead.  So why should you? Peace starts with a smile. A lot of church members who are singing 'Standing on the Promises' are just sitting on the premises. Don't wait for 6 strong men to take you to church. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage. He who angers you, controls you! The best mathematical equation I have ever seen:                                 1 cross + 3 nails = 4 given The will of God will never take you to where the Grace of God will not protect you. Cows taking on a black bear in B.C., Canada -0400 Now this is some tough beef... Interesting photos from a ranch in the Kettle Valley , BC area where every year they have to deal with some pretty weird stuff. This year a bear had been bothering the herd and I guess enough was enough. Read on... A couple of evenings ago, Wayne went out to check the cows and saw a very strange sight and was able to photograph the event. A black bear approached our cow herd which turned out to be a very big mistake on his part. The blonde and white Simmental cow we know as I-12 went right for him. She is a very good cow, a very attentive mother and about 12 years old. She's in her prime and knows that bears are bad news. She tried her best to mash him into the ground. There are a couple of photos where the bear is biting I-12's leg and clawing her face but she is not giving up. Her stiff tail shows how agitated she is. Wayne said all the cows were bawling, the bear was squealing, the calves were running arou

God’s shoulders are wide enough to carry your burdens. He is sovereign over the universe, so He is certainly capable of working out problems and meeting needs. Today I want to give you an exercise that will help make casting your cares a practical act. First, write on a piece of paper the things that cause your anxiety. Once you start writing, you may discover a list of items that cheat you out of peace. Next, pray each issue into God’s care. Recall Psalm 18:35, which promises that He upholds believers in His loving grasp. Finally, as you pray, visualize placing the situation into God’s omnipotent hands. For example, a woman may imagine handing over to the Lord what she owes, while saying, “Father, I give You my financial anxiety. I know that You will show me how to get out of debt. You are more than sufficient to handle it, and I trust You to guide me.” Some people may protest this suggestion, because humanistic and pseudo-spiritual movements also use a method they refer to as “visualizing.” Don’t let anyone steal what is rightfully yours. God creates word pictures throughout the Bible. This exercise merely creates a mental snapshot of the Lord doi

Ten Commandments Fight Goes Another Round In Florida By BRENT KALLESTAD CROSS CITY, Fla. -- The folks who live in this sparsely populated rural region along Florida's upper west coast don't like outsiders butting in, especially when it comes to their religious beliefs. They're miffed, to put it politely, and appealing a federal judge's order to remove a five-foot high granite monument that prominently displays the Ten Commandments in front of the Dixie County courthouse by Sunday. It's the latest skirmish in a years-long conflict across the United States between state and local officials who have wanted to honor the laws that help define their faith and those who argue such displays should stay out of any public forum under a Constitution that bars the establishment of religion. It has been almost eight years since former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore was removed from office and gained nationwide notoriety for refusing to move another huge granite monument to the Commandments from the court's lobby. But similar disputes continue to trickle through the courts in towns and counties nationwide. Dixie County officials and residents say support for their mo

July 21 WOOHOO  what a awesome night at Lernerville Speedway.  Hadn't see a WOO show for over a year.  We arrived there the day before so we got to see all the haulers pulling in and I asked Dudley ok who is this one?  Getting more and more excited as I heard the names.  Couldn't wait to get out there in the pits to see the drivers in person.    I got my wish. Got to meet Steve Kinser, 'the King of the Outlaws'   but they are all such very nice guys. Dale Blaney, Schatz, Swindell, Tim Shaffer, Craig Dollansky -Danny Lasoski, Danny Smith, Kasey Kahne, and so many I can't name them all but they were great to see !!! Love them all.  The races were great, the track was good and wet and they ran twin thirties and well by the second the drivers felt a difference on the track as it started to dry out.   Then the dirt started to fly and there were several cars that went flying and wrecked and some turned over. It was a great show and we are looking forward to Bloomington in August. We arrived in Indiana and were welcomed by a storm before Mt. Comfort exit and an 18 wheeler just turned over on its side just minutes before w
