We wrapped up the week at Mom's house.  It was a positive visit with doing needed repairs and getting some of the things she needed. Most importantly we were able to pray with her and really believe she understands the gift of Jesus.  Needless to say our hearts are a lot lighter today.  This is thanks to you all as a result of your prayers. God continues to answer our prayers. We drove to PA before the heavy rains started.  While stopping to eat a huge storm with damaging winds hit. As we drove through the towns to Sarver PA we saw many trees down and broken and debree on the roads.  We just missed it.  Thank you God for keeping us safe.  Woke up this morning to a soggy track and grounds.  Slight rain mist right now.  Hoping this clears up for tonight's race.  Need the sun to come out and shine.    Right now we remain one lonely motorhome in the huge parking lot. Have a dry blessed day!

Finishing up on Mom's house and getting ready to leave Thursday for a Friday night race at Lernerville  Speedway and Mercer Speedway on Sat night.  We will be joined at both events by Chaplain Bill Beck and wife Judy.  Last year she was unable to leave the house but this year through God's healing she will be joining us at the tracks.  Looking forward to meeting with this great couple who do God's work at the tracks.    Dudley working on Mom's windows Working on the last window   Great seeing my long time friend Debbie West.  Friends since 1968 we have stayed in contact.

Rain and scheduling conflicts cancels trips to the races this weekend.   Sympathy goes out to the Baldwin/Frederickson family at the loss of 80 yr old Jim Baldwin.  We worked closely with the Frederickson race team through our ministry. Saddened by the horrible incident that occurred last night in Colorado.  Dudley addressed it on our news page.    I just have to say.... it's not the guns that kill people it is the world being influenced by evil in theatres, songs about killing people and raping girls stories in books and on TV programs. It becomes part of their life and they want to be like what they see and hear and read about.  They want to be those type of heroes.  It is attractive and it will make them be somebody.    God help our future generations if something doesn't change.  'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.'     'If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked way; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  - 2nd Chronicles 7:14

Sunday Morning...... We headed to Weirton to Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church.    Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church.... Jan 1999   I got saved !  September 18, 1999  Dudley and I were married there. We arrived at the church this morning to find that our dear friend Pastor Marvin Taylor was retiring and this would be his last Sunday morning service. But he would be doing the Sunday night service next week. Pastor Taylor was pastoring in this church for 45 years.   What a wonderful reunion with all the familiar faces at the church.  It is wonderful how God put us in this little church just at the right time in our lives as I was searching.  He also puts the right people in your life at just the right time.  Sometimes for a lifetime and sometimes for just a little while. Good people and they always make us feel so welcome.  The afternoon came and we made a visit to Ohio to my youngest son Jeff and Colleen.   They were happy to receive the Italian pizzales cookies, some sea shells from Apalachacola, FL and half of a pecan pie given to us before we left home from our friend Glenda.     Jeff presented us with a coffee grinder

Friday.....After a full day of shopping with Mom we each decided to rest a while. Suddenly at around 3pm Mom opened the door and came walking out of her house across her rough uneven yard using her walker.  As she was coming towards the motorhome; I ran outside to meet her and found out that her next door neighbor, Edith had fallen and couldn't get up.  She couldn't dial her son's number correctly but since she calls Mom each day she could call her number for help with no problem.  Dudley & I quickly hurried over to find that Edith's door was locked.  We tried calling all the number listed for her son and his children in the phone book but couldn't get anyone.  We went back to Ediths door and I was trying to talk to her through the steel door but just couldn't understand much of what she was saying.  I tried to ask her if she wanted me to call 911 ? ?  Her phone was now off the hook so I couldn't even talk to her on it.  We could hear her making sentences so we knew she sounded ok. We just couldn't understand anything she was saying.  After about 10 minutes more her son drove up the driveway.  Seeing us there at the door, thinki

Received word this morning from Pastor friend Johnnie that his heart is fine and his medication was affecting and causing him problems.  We continue to pray for Johnnie and his wife Shirley who have become very dear to us.   Spoke to Ohio & Indiana racing friends and they are awaiting our arrival.  We'll be here in WV this week and attending several races in PA next week.  Waiting for Mom to feel better later today to get her to the store.....   I can actually feel a difference in her,  all of your prayers are making that difference.  Keep up the good work friends.    Thank you.   You are all in our prayers.

Spent the night at Dudley's neice's house and with his brother near Princeton, WV.   Monday started out early.....The rooster started crowing and wouldn't shut up.  He could have waited until daylight.  Next someone fell out of bed in the next room.  Then they were calling for his neice to wake up to get ready for work.    So we might as well get up too. Brother took us to breakfast at the Omelet house.....   Then back to our motorhome up at the plaza where we left it and the baby.   We stepped up into the motorhome and couldn't find 'Baby'.  She was hiding in the closet.  Mad because Dudley wasn't here to feed her at the crack of dawn when the birdies started singing.... she wouldn't come out to see us.  It took about 20 minutes for her to make up with us.   Spoiled !! Started up the road for northern WV.  The phone rang and it was Kim that Dudley met the day before at Flying J in North Carolina.  He was calling to see that we had a safe trip and he let us know he was praying for us.   Awesome. 2nd phone call was from Kevin. the mechanic from the tire shop.  Calling to check that the new tire held
