As our tour draws near to an end only a couple of stops remain. Putnamville's Lincoln Park Speedway was on this weeks Saturday schedule. Just off route 40 between Indianapolis and Terre Haute you will find this little speed plant almost obscured from view. If you are in the area it would well worth the trip to look it up.

We found names like Tracy Hines, Dave Darland, Shane Cottle and many more stars competing for the $2000 to win pot of loot. The big winner on our visit was 2nd generation standout Casey Shuman. This was his 4th seat in recent weeks but proved to be a good fit as he held off numerous competitors for the 25 laps. He has won in all 4 rides.

The passer of the night had to be Kokomo's Jamie Frederickson as he came from the tail of the "B" to 9th was spun and came again to 5th and had Darland in his sights when time ran out. Fans got their moneys worth in all divisions as there were over 100 race cars in the pits.

I want to thank the Lincoln Park Speedway staff for their hospitality. They maintain a family friendly track hosting 4 divisions of competitive racing. Their facilities are clean and presentable with good reasonably priced refreshments. We find this refreshing as compared some other stops in recent weeks. Bloomington and Gas City have provided great Friday non wing action. Next week we will wrap up our Indiana part of the tour with the high banks of Lawerenceburg. Thanks again Lincoln Park or as the locals say "goin to Putnamville".
