We have been accomplishing things at Nancy's mom's in WV. and that is a good thing. Great races in central PA and a couple of columns for Hoseheads will emerge I'm sure. Lernerville's nostalgia night was rained out but we plan to attend this weekend. We have had a couple of calls and emails of opportunities for stops along the way so what's the problem? Perhaps it is the fact of our special friend, 74 year old Dorothy Heard of Noblesville,IN is still missing and leaving an empty place in our hearts.

Dorothy was taken from her home a week before we left Florida and has not been seen since. Police are holding a person of interest but that provides small comfort to her family of which we feel a part. Renewing friendships and making new ones, bench racing with old competitors, and being around the races in general is great. The trip has thus far been rewarding and successful and without complications. Each day however, starts with a check for the latest update on Dorothy. We will soon be in Indiana for catching up with friends and some good midwestern sprint car racing. There will however, be a cloud over the reunions as we remember our special friend and the anguish of her family. Love each other as the sun may never rise on tomorrow. We are only promised today. God Bless the family and we love ya Dorothy.
