While at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in Latimer Valley, PA, I visited the Hillagass display. There are complete cars but also a beautiful frame and unpainted aluminum body. Also there were a couple of Hiram's original jiggs. This was a great display of time gone by.

I remember racing against several Hillagass cars and the one thing I remember is that their left front wheel never touched the dirt. Hiram of Allentown, PA was one of the premier midget and sprint builders of his day. We lost Hiram in 1960 but he is now enshrined in the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame. Those were beautiful cars and I appreciate a chance to relive memories of nights long lost to history.
