An already challenging season is hit by yet another obstacle. The heat. Many Friday night tracks have decided to stay dark because of the near record tempratures covering much of the mid-west and east. The high fuel prices, a long rainey spell in the early part of the season and the economy in general have all forced us to look at this season as one of th most challenging one in recent memory. Saturday and Sunday shows look to suffer the same fate as the Friday events with no relief to the heat expected through the weekend.

We pray for those that do run that fans, racers and track personnel all use caution dealing with the intense heat. God gave us strength, He also gave us wisdom. Good luck to all with the decision you make.
