Gas City I-69 Speedway fought area rains, wind and chilly temps to put on a complete event of top flight racing on a fast well prepared race track. We want to thank Tom Brenner, Nona and the speedway staff for a warm welcome back to one of our favorite venues.

After all of our recent rainouts we were ready for a full night of racing and we were not disappointed. It was great to be able to pray in person with our friends, to renew old friendships and to begin new ones. We were able to visit with friends from Michigan to Florida and a lot of places in between. The racing was outstanding in all divisions. The sprint B-main consisted of names usually found on the front of the A at any track in the country.

The speedway web site states that the facilities are for sale. We hope that when a new owner is found that they will continue the tradition of providing some of the best dirt track racing in the mid west. If you have never visited this Gas City, there is still time this season to do so. We are sure you will not be disappointed. Thanks to all who took time to make our return a special evening. As Ralph Ligouri reminded us, racers are some of the best folks you will ever find. Anywhere.
