Carol Linder, 64, of Fremont died early Friday morning at Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born October 20, 1946 in Fremont the daughter of Robert and Irene Curless-Dicker. She was a 1965 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. She married James Linder on December 19, 1964 at Grace Lutheran Church. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and felt that nothing was more important than taking care of her family. James and Carol were co-owners and operators of Linder's Pennzoil in town for many years. The family was also very involved in sprint car racing, and Carol would help the race team by cooking for the crew, washing uniforms, washing the sprint car, and generally keeping the whole team running like a "well oiled machine." She traveled all over with her family during the race season and made a bunch of friends along the way. We pray for peace and healing for the Linder family and Carol's many friends.
