Dudley loaded up all the sprint car parts & tires into the motorhome. There is a table & 4 chairs & 4 tires in our dining area now from Bill and Cathy in the motorhome.
Left Kokomo and drove to Peru, IN to service the motorhome again. Stopped in Dairy Queen and then left for Tipton.
Arrived in Tipton at Judy & Larry Alley's home. Enjoyed the fellowship and catching up on the last year. Larry and Judy will be celebrating their 50th anniversary on Sept. 8 and wished we could be here; but hoping we will just about home.
Larry took us to Lincoln Square for dinner. While visiting we received a call from my youngest son, Jeff. They took my mom to the hospital. She has 10 lbs of fluid around the heart and her legs are swelled from the angles up, and her blood pressure is sky high. They started her immediately on diaretics and other procedures. The doctor would be in to see her late in the evening. Spoke to her about 8:00 pm and she said already she was getting some relief from the swelling. The doctor said he would be in late in the evening to check on her.
I called at 10:00pm but was unable to get an answer. Sometimes the phones are turned off in the evening so as not to bother the sleeping patients.
Unloaded the tires out of the motorhome and put them on the race car trailer. At least now, I can walk through the motorhome without getting tire tracks on my legs.
