This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Sunday morning we left early at 8:30am; we were riding with Pastor John and his wife Janis to his church "Joyce Chapel" in Alexandria, IN.
John has been pastoring this church for just a few months and is already growing the church.
I was asked to play the organ for the offeratory hymn. I hadn't played an organ in church since 2004 and I enjoyed it. I sang two special songs with my testamony. "He touched me" & "Something Beautiful". As some of you know the Lord did touched me and healed me and allowed me to serve him with my heart and my voice.
The service was spirit filled and the message was on "Forgiveness". Really had us searching our souls.
At the end of the service I sang "Change My Heart Oh God". and Pastor John closed the service.
On the way home, John drove us through fields of corn and soy beans down some back roads and so we could see up close the giant wind turbines project that was being installed throughout the fields. They had already erected a few but a lot more were in the workings. (see pic below)
We stopped at Pizza Hut for lunch and then back to his house.
Later when their daughter Carrie and kids came over Janice & I walked back up to the Glass Festival with them. Kids enjoyed riding all the carnival rides. The sun was getting pretty hot now for me and I decided to walk the mile back to the motorhome.
Janis prepared a nice dinner for us again and we had great fellowship with two great friends today.
Gigantic Wind turbines....
