A third grader at Challenger Elementary in Howell, Michigan was really sad when a child in the lunch line had to put down his tray of hot food because he didn't... have enough money in his account. He was given a cold cheese sandwich but 8-year-old Cayden Taipalus decided to help raise money for the kids who could use a few extra bucks in their lunch account. He called family, friends, neighbors and even took back cans to raise money. When the media found out, strangers donated to his online fundraising page and has this week raised $14,000 to help thousands of Livingston County students. UPDATE: Mar 7 - His fund has now raised $25,000.
